Hasina Al-Harthi

Dr. Hasina Al Harthi is a Medical Doctor (MD) with a Master’s degree in Epidemiology, specializing in innovation management and design thinking. She has furthered her expertise with courses in change management and intellectual property, underscoring her commitment to driving healthcare innovation. As the Head of the Research Section at the Royal Hospital, Dr. Al Harthi has played a transformative role in Oman’s healthcare sector, founding the country’s first healthcare innovation studio—a pioneering platform for advancing creative solutions in healthcare. Her areas of focus include healthcare research, innovation management, and evidence-based practice, which she also teaches at the Oman Medical Specialty Board, Sultan Qaboos University, and the Ministry of Health. Dr. Al Harthi’s work is dedicated to strengthening Oman’s healthcare services through research, policy development, and an innovation-driven approach to patient care.
