Dr. Carine Ayoub obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy diploma in 2017, a Research Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical and Biological Sciences in 2018, and a PhD in Pharmaceutical and Biological Sciences in 2023 from Saint Joseph University of Beirut in Lebanon. She also completed a post-doctorate at UMR_S1166 ICAN at the Faculty of Medicine of Sorbonne University in France.
She is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy and a researcher at the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Therapeutics at Saint Joseph University of Beirut. She teaches courses at the Faculty of Pharmacy and is committed to academic and scientific excellence, as well as the training of future healthcare professionals and researchers. Her research work primarily focuses on biochemical, molecular, genetic, and clinical studies of lipid metabolism disorders and associated cardiovascular risks, particularly familial hypercholesterolemia. She has several publications in scientific journals, thereby contributing to the advancement of knowledge in her field.
