Abdullah Al Maniri

Dr. Abdullah  Al Maniri is a distinguished professional with extensive expertise in strategic planning, performance improvement, public health research, and fostering private-public partnerships. Over two decades, he has significantly impacted the Sultanate of Oman’s health sector through his leadership roles in various organizations.

Al Maniri’s leadership capacity is exemplified in his roles at the Ministry of Health, where he led organizational restructuring initiatives and contributed to the development of the National Digital Health Strategy and the privatization intiative of the Health Information System. He played a pivotal role in establishing the University Medical City and designing training programs in innovation and design thinking for healthcare leaders. His strategic vision is further highlighted by his tenure as the Vice President of Support Services and Director of the Strategic Planning Department at the Omani Medical Specialty Board (OMSB), where he spearheaded transformational initiatives and digital transformation plans.
